Our goal is to have 100% participation from students and to raise $70,000 for the KSPTA to support the school district in many areas including:

• Free Community Events (New Family Welcome, Back to School events, Book Fair, Games Nights, Movie Nights, Winter Market)

• Grant Program & Teacher Stipends

• Parent Education (Guest Speakers and Authors)

• Staff Events (Teacher Appreciation Week & Luncheon, Staff Breakfasts)

• Student & School Events (Author visits, Assembly enrichment, Grade-level parties & dances, Earth Day, Maker Fair, Talent Shows)

• Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (“We All Belong” t-shirts, Kent/Bacich magnets, water bottle stickers)

• Classroom and Garden Supplies

• Yearbooks

• Spiritwear and more!

• Monday, February 26 - Students will begin seeking pledges from friends & family.

• Bacich - Wednesday, March 13 - Guest authors, local celebrity readers, our annual bookmark design contest, and other reading-themed activities will fill this special Readathon day. We anticipate each student will read 200 minutes during the Readathon.

• Kent - Monday, March 11 through March 14 - Author visits, the Scholastic Book Fair, reading lounges, our annual bookmark design contest, and dedicated reading time will take place throughout the week. Extra special reading events will take place on Wednesday, March 13.

• Monday, March 18 - Last chance to donate!

• Students will receive a link to their personal pledge page via 99pledges.com

• Send this pledge page link to as many friends and family members as you would like. Encourage your child to write a short paragraph or make a short video to send with the link.

• Flat donations and per minute read pledges will be accepted.
